Jeremy: I found your lachesis post interesting also. I hope you will post it again. Maybee post it as the start of a new topic about the origins of scientific names, and see what others add. JohnZ

I have not personally deleted one is a month of so. I don’t think I have ever deleted one with a name attached to it. I have deleted several from “anonymous” who try to side track topics, cast dispersions on other users, or just say stupid things not germane to our site. Don’t we have the capability to check who deletes what?

Now let me tell you what is germane. I went to Chuck Hurd's house for chicken wings. His sister came out with the wings, wearing a pair of shorts soooo short, she had to wear a hair net...........lol, now by God, that is funny right there......

Chris part of the reason most froums do not allow post from an "anonymous" sorce is accountability. Anyone can post that way and not be held accountable or to standards as a "NO PERSON". Yet when people are forced to put their name to a post or atleast a screen name they tend to be a little more human in thier post. Also if that person contiues to abuse a site they know the Staff can take actions from a ban of the name to a full IP ban. I personally ignore the post on here from anonymous posters now as most appear to have nothing useful to say.
Where as people who take the time to atleast make a screen name tend to be more productive a poster and with useful information. If you got the balls to say it why not have the balls to stand up as who you are?
As to Chuck Hurd, He has been over to eat at my place a few times. Dont know about his siter but i know its a smart idea to build a frontier fort around your plate if my wife is cooking or chuck will try and invade lol :)

I have to say that the first previous anonymous post is the kind of thing I remove. Just because someone chooses to post here does not make their family fair game for poor taste jokes and attacks.
