Hey all,
There's got to be a few shhs folks living out in the Pee Dee South Carolina! I'm looking for some responsible herpers to road cruise and just go herping with.
Also, when is ther going to be another SHHS group field trip?

Where in the PeeDee are you? I an near Hartsville, and I do a bit of road cruising myself during the summer weeks when I don't have to get up before the crack of dawn and be at work before most people even wake up.

Hey lady,
I'm in Florence. I'm thinkin bout heading up to the Sandhills park near McBee today, prolly look for tin outside the park. Let me know anytime you feel like cruisin... it's not quite warm enough yet in my opinion but it never hurts ('cept the wallet, gas is killin me lately!).

That's excellent Northern Pine territory, but if you get caught herping on the wildlife refuge and have any animals on you, that's a Federal crime, since it's a National refuge. I used to work there when I was a teen, and they don't play when it comes to what they consider poaching. As long as you're outside the park boundries you should be OK. I know that there are lots of Pigmy Rattlers there, too, as well as Coachwhips. Those last two seem to be the predominant species. I used to see HUGE Pines there, and had a big female that was caught right outside the park, but I don't know how the Pituophis population has held up lately. I'm having a rough time with inner ear problems right now, so I am gonna have to wait until this clears up before I head out to the woods, since it's sorta hard to look for snakes when you can't walk upright.

I want to thank you all for giving out the locations and towns. I may head over there too and collect. Maybe we all will. Lets all get together and go to these places. They said that they had pigmies? Im there.

Dear lady,
Thanks for your input. I wouldnt dream of taking anything out the park... outside, maybe.
I found my first scarlet king there today, gorgeous... i got pictures if you'd like to see.
Once you're feeling better I'd love for you to show me around some around there!
As for anonymous, lets go.
