Anybody notice missing posts?

Is there a "BUG" in the experts forum software? I just answered a post about how toxic C. m pyruss is compared to other Crotalids..now I can't find it. It happened with Jeremy's post on Lachesis, now this one.
Also the numbers of posts for a thread don't match the actual numbers posted.

Just pulled in from sea this evening.
I haven't gotten caught up on all the posts yet.
I have not deleted anything yet.
Anonymous posts don't show up in the totals before you open the thread and they throw everything off.
