Can someone point out to me where I might get started
working with herps. I am pretty much experiensed in the
field. I also have a two year diploma in wildlife conservation . Either it be cleaning cages ,teaching the public , or doing research in a lab or field.

If you don't have a degree, then the only jobs available for working with herps are at zoos as a keeper. And usually, you have to at least impress them with your knowledge level. Since you are near the Okeefenokee, you might go talk to them about what it would take to work there. The best website for herp jobs period is at: http://www.parcplace.org/herpjobs/index.htm
