i was intrested in getting a maylan pitviper. I currently keep copperheads and cottonmouths. I need to know about the care and husbandry and some basic info which has been hard to find of the animal. also venom/bite effects. Would this be an ok species to keep going from what i already keep. Just need the insite of one who knows these snakes or what other requirements are there.

do not, I have seen a bite pic from one of these nasties and it is strongly necrotic like ive never seen before!!!!!
the poor guys hand was black and the rest of his arm was so swollen that the skin split at the point of dead flesh meets swollen flesh...
not + but I would say atleaset most of his hand was removed....
