There are no venomous sold at the Daytona Show. Only venomous shows are in SC (1 or 2) Hamburg, Pa (4) and Litiz, Pa (2). No license or permit are required. Who they get sold to is left up to the sellers discreation - which gets pretty scarey. I've seen a 16 year old get sold a monacled cobra as his first snake at a Litiz Show from a Penna based dealer because the kid had the $$ and the dealer didn't care about anything but the $100.

Ozark, MO also hosts a venomous show that had a pretty good selection from what I saw. There were elapids (though limited to monacles I believe), and lots and lots of vipers and pit vipers. Not to mention many non-venomous that I never expected to see there (nile crocs, American alligators, multiple green anacondas, etc etc etc). If you can make it, I suggest going to this show sometime.
