I will like to have any information about venomn of trimeresurus and its effects, this week i will have my 1:1 trimeresurus stejnegeri (my first venomus snakes)they have recommend me this species to start with. Thanks a lot from Spain

i am not familiar with T. stejnegri specifically, but Trimeresurus tend to not be life threatening.....keep in mind that it would be a VERY unpleasent experience to take a bite, a hospital visit would be highly recommended, but barring an allergic reaction to the venom (septicemia = death), the "WORST" that would happen to you would be losing a finger or a LOT of permenant scarring, loss of function to a limb, etc... the best bet is to be very careful and not get bitten. that said, Trimeresurus are a good species to start with as they are usually not overly aggressive. good luck and be careful.
