just got a brand new tank and was wondering what would u guys sujest for the best tank cleaner and substrate
i have aspen right now getting a cal king

Paula: As far as tank cleaners, there are many you can use, as long as they rinse clean with hot water.
Do not use cleaners that leave any kind of scent, or have any kind of oil.
Anything like watered down clorox, ammonia, iodine based cleaner, windex, dish soap, or vinegar can be used as a cage cleaner. Just make sure you rinse it several times with hot water until you can no longer smell the cleaner, and then dry afterwords.

thanks john i didnt think about clorox since i can barely stand the smell of it didnt think my little guy would like it lol
