Is anyone familiar with the testing for possible anti-venom reactions and any ideas on if the test is available(before a bite occurs)

Yes, obviously the tests are availible but that little exposure to the venom can trigger an allergic reaction or can sensetize you to the venom.

Checking for sensitivity to av is a waste of time and money. you will have time to treat any reaction as they appear. In fact testing is not recomended .
and may cause a reaction itself.
