i purchased three '05 atrox a month ago and two of the three haven't defacated yet. the third one craps all the time!!! all three eat every time i offer food. the only remedy i can think of is to soak them in luke warm water. i'm hoping there is a better method to make them go because i'm certain soaking them would be extremely stressful for them. can anyone help me out???

Canyon: Soaking the Atrox does not have to be extremely stressful to them if you do it correctly.
You want to soak them in water an inch or two deep at the most, so they dont have to keep swimming and can touch the bottom.
Make sure the temperature is not to cold or too warm. Check it with a thermometer. Mid 80 degree water should be about right. Gently place them into it.
After a half hour or so, put them back in their cages and give it a day or two. If that does not do the trick, try soaking again.
Hope this helps. JohnZ

I had problems with my rhinos. And what helped was few drops of mineral oil injected into a prekilled mouse. (I did try soaking first but, it wasn't helping). Maybe you could try that if the soaking will not do it.
