It's not mine but someone has bought it and was told it's a garter snake. The female laid eggs recently and the person has no idea what it actually is. He is located in Philippines. I was looking for some info about it for about an hour and finally I gave up. I would really appreciate your help.
Thanks,
Petra

My guess would be one of the Bronzebacks (Dendrelaphis) from Asia (including the Phillipines).
They are arboreal tree snakes of the Colubrid family.
My identification is not definitive.
Maybe Dr. Wuster or someone more knowledgeable will stop by and help out.

Thanks Karl. I was thinking that it could be the painted bronzeback (took me about 2 hours to find it just by looking at pics of asian snakes but, I'm not an expert so I wasn't sure). It is not that important to me, just the more I'm trying to figure it out the more it bugs me that I cannot do it.
Anyways thanks again, even if I wasn't right now I'm happy I at least got close ;)
