Length of time for King Cobra to shed

I must have too much time on my hands (of course, this is my favorite snake in my collection) but the last two times our King Cobra ("Thai"; a 13' male) has shed, I just happened to be there at the beginning, so, I decided to time the process (from the time the snake started rubbing its snout to get it started to the time that the entire shed was done): Shed cycle 1: 44 minutes Shed cycle 2: 38 minutes. Nothing mind blowing but just thought I would share some of our observations.
