Hello! Im just curious if anyone has ever owned one of these? What are their temperaments like? Are they venomous? Sorry for all the dumb questions, I just stumbled upon someone selling one and here in Illinois an outright ban on venomous reptiles is implemented. Ive always had a huge love of O. hannah and since I cant own one legally here in Illinois, I figured I would ask for some info on these false cobras. Any info would be appreciated. Thank you!

Try Google under Malpolon moilensis. You will find about 15,000 pages, but most all of your questions are answered on the first two pages of hits.

Malpolon moilensis is rear snake and considered mildly venomous. The temperature is between 80 to 85 dgrees. At night about 70 to 75 degrees. Husbandty-sand as bedding with rocks to hide under and mist every day once or twice. They are easy to over power in feeding. You can email me crotalusatrox@crotalusatrox.net
