Hy guys,
Can anyone tell me something about this snake ? I couldn`t find anything about it on the web.
Some one here is selling one for 250$ and I am pretty interested.
Anticipated thanks,
Best regards,

Hi Alex,
This is my favorite of the neo-tropical pitvipers. It is a fairly large lancehead from Venezuela. The correct name for this snake is the Mapanare Lancehead. Babies do very well, they seem to be much hardier than Bothrops Asper neonates. My normal phase pair is three years old and seem to grow daily. B. Colombiensis also has a yellow phase which is spectacular! Like most Bothrops, they have a feeding response that is second to none. Below are two links so that you can check out my female yellow phase and my male normal phase. The male normal phase is even better in person. Matt Harris is another keeper of this species, you can ask him for some information as well. Good luck.
