hey fizzbob...i read it...what a bull**** story!!!!!!!
Isn't it crazy how people can hallucinate when it comes to snakes!!! Every detail from the size of the snake to its behavior was a complete exaggeration!! I also emailed him...what a fool...trash talk a snake to impress and install fear into people... No true "outdoorsman" would ever try to propigate hatered for an animal, but learn to appreciate it for the vital purpose it serves...

I, too sent him an e-mail. Told him it was a nice story. Unbelievable, but nice. I also told him that I have caught over three hundred cottonmouths & that the next one that chases me will be the first one.

We often only see what we want or expect to see.
Had anyone looked around at the site, they might have discovered that the author "Marsh Bunny" was a woman. Then they could have emailed HER and not have seemed as ignoring of plain facts as she was. It does no good to defend snakes from an emotional platform. Cool reason may prevail even in the face of such obvious exaggeration. Name calling and righteous indignation only causes peopele to dig in their heels and defend what even they know is not exactly true.
