no, i have been up there looking for them but all i seem to find up there is the garter snake and TONS of northern lepard frogs, we don't get that many in florida

I was born and raised in the Upper Peninsula. Houghton to be exact. I attended MTU as maybe you are as well. As far as venomous snakes go, i have yet to find one or hear of one. The lower parts like the menominee area maybe or even ironwood possibly, but again i highly doubt it. I could be wrong though. The snakes i have come across are garter snakes and "copper" bellies.
