I have a wild caught male timber rattler that appears to have a retained eyecap. Not such a big deal I suppose, other than there looks to be fluid buildup underneath giving him the fish-eye look. I also see a few white spots on that eye, so I'm afraid of infection. I would appreciate any input on how best to treat this since it's not something easily taken to a vet. Thanks

Probably the best method would be to put a q-tip sized hole in arestrainint tube and tube the snake. Use the q-tip to remove the eyecap.
Cheers
