I may be spending a week in Iquitos, Peru. Any advise on when where to find the best reptiles. I've been there in Late March a few years ago and it bairly rained, but I'm getting conflicting info on when I can go and not find the city half under water. Plus, would I find more reptiles in the wet or dry season. When is the one road guaranteed to be above water or is it always. Any help would be apprediated. I know a shaman who lives there that is telling me January is the best time to go in the next six months in regards avoiding rain.
