Hi everyone I have a question about parasites. I have never had any problems with them so I don't really know what to look for. Today I got home from work and my Forest Cobra had left me a surprise in his cage. I went to clean up the stool and when I picked it up there was some little white bugs underneath it, they where extremely small. I just cleaned the cage about a 2 days ago and put some Fir Bark in it which I had just got in the mail. I bought it over the internet. I was wondering if anyone knew if that was parasites or if it was mites. Just to clarify the cobra is not WC it was CB 05'. Thanks Alot Shannon

Hard to say without seeing them. Newly hatched mites are white but they are SO SMALL, it's unlikely you would be able to see them. (I can see them with my glasses off, but I am EXTREMELY nearsighted and I can focus from about 3/4 inch away.)
Someone else here might have a better idea what they actually ARE.
