i picked up an adult female tuesday and my friend said he wasnt really sure on the locale i just wanted to get some opinions on what it could be. here are some pics if anyone needs more let me know. anyone else keeping these snakes ? thanks for any help take care everyone

I didn't see any pics. We keep Echis coloratus so if that is what you have, I'd be happy to share with you our husbandry program with them.

The most common species on the US market is Echis carinatus sochureki. I am quite sure that is what you probably have. They are very hardy snakes that do extremely well in captivity.

thanks for the replys i was looking at some pics and i thougth she was prob Echis carinatus sochureki too any other comments are welcome

No so fast....
Echis carinatus multisquamatus (Transcaspian SSV) looks almost the same as the Echis carinatus sochureki (Eastern SSV)as I know they were available on the market in the past year it's possible that it could also be this species.
