Majave green

I was scratched the other day by a majave green. I am still feeling ill from it. I did not go to the hospital. Should I have? If it was a bad invenamation I would be feeling more sick than I am. shouldn't I?

Im not a enom expert but if the affects haven't been that bad so far just keep doin what ever it is that you have been. Did you try to was it out right after the contact?

Yes I washed it out. There is no swelling. I am just feeling sick to my stomac at have a bad head ache.

you may not have been envenomated at all and are just feeling that rush of "wow i could be in some serious trouble right now"

Melvin, if you had recieved a "bad envenomation" from a Mojave Rattlesnake a few days ago, and did not recieve any anti-venom treatment, you would not be feeling anything anymore. And your friends would be planning your burial service.
If you recieved some venom from a fang scratch, or almost dry bite, it could easily explain you not feeling well several days later. But like Ricky said, you could just be feeling sick because of the close call.
The Mojave Rattlesnake is one you do not want to take any chances with. Be extremely careful working with them.

and even when i have dreams of being bitten i kind of wake up with a sick feeling lol.
it's always my favorite hot too, a timber rattler i've had since 2000. he always gets me on the hand and in my dream, i always think "there goes my extra money for the next 10 years" lol.
spending that much money on a bite makes me sick

Thanks guys I am feeling alot better. That was a close call. I have been handling that majave green for about 3 years now and I have never had such a close call. I thought at the time I was a dead man. thanks for all the help. Blythekid.
