I've just been given the opportunity to take on either a White Lipped Pit -Viper or a Central American Jumping Pit-Viper. Both would be juveniles, not sure what age/size they are yet.
I'm really asking this quickly as I have no experiance with either species and can't make up my mind which.
Although I think I prefer the Jumping Pit-Viper this forum has never steered me wrong and I wondered what the members thought of either snake?
Please help me make up my mind!!!!
Thanks a lot guys,
Mark.

Mark, if it were me, I would go with the Central American Jumping Pit-Viper. It is a less known animal, and usually has very distinctive markings. They are not difficult to keep in captivity. Cool little snakes.
As far as the White Lipped Vipers, well, a lot of folks keep them. They are good looking animals, and also easy to keep.
I just do not like the White Lipped Vipers nearly as much as the Jumping Vipers.
Best Regards JohnZ

Hi Mark,
Lucky you mate.
Remember white lips can be hard to get going , but once feeding they're gannets.
I've a female white lip here that I bought in December and i'm still assist feeding her.
The one you were offered, is it male? I lost my male unfortunately
Cheers,
Al
