Jorge, the Malegasy Hognosed Snakes are easy to care for.
They prefer higher temperatures and humidity than American Heterodon hognose snakes.
They readilly eat mice in captiity, but in the wild eat lizards, snakes, birds, and eggs.
They like a dry substrate in the cage that they can burrow through. A good choice would be cypress mulch.
They like having a hide box in the cage also.
Because these snakes are rear-fanged, it is advisable that you be carefull when handling them.
