With all the Brown Tree Snakes in Guam there must be all sorts of them available for sale. How do I find one?

They are categorized as "Injurious Wildlife" and are illegal to have in the United States.

are you serious? I thought i saw a couple pictures on photo bucket of a brown tree snake. Illegal trading?

I have pictures on photobucket of Brown Tree Snakes. I took the pictures on Guam and the snakes stayed there - on Guam. Last time I looked it up there was a $50,000 fine for getting caught with a Brown Tree Snake in the United States. That's pretty steep just to keep a snake that you think is interesting. Karl

What is interesting is that I had a Brown Tree Snake here in this country about 30 years ago. Was included in a reptile shipment from Chris Mattison from England. Was an interesting snake to keep, and of course, this was way before the current laws were passed. Lived about 8 years if I remember correctly. Best Regards JohnZ
