Looking for someone that can give me some info on the raising and breeding of Great Basin Rattlesnakes.

Lutosis is a beautiful little rattlesnake. Set them up as you would any of the western montane forms. They should accept small mice. I kept one many years ago, but never got the chance to pair it up.

My friend keeps dozens of these. Most feed readily on small mice. All of these are w/c so almost all only take live. For the most part they are all a relatively mellow bunch. Once they get used to being captive they mostly don't mind being moved around etc. Rarely rattle for long. He keeps them on newspaper or puts them on that shredded newspaper substrate if he has to take them somewhere. Here's a picture of a very light phased animal he has.
