I'm wanting to turn my hobby into a career. I'm about to graduate from a local university and don't want to enter the coorporate world in terms of my only hobby being a golfer with other coorp. people. Thus far in my research about the feasibility of what I'm aiming to accomplish, I'm cotacting what I consider the top breeders by viewing their ads, frequency of posts, species in their posts, and overall professionalism within their posts. My goal is to make a comfortable living through a business dealing with snakes whether for breeding or display, etc.., that can eventually run itself through hiring the right employees. I'm located in Little Rock, AR, an area that to my knowledge doesn't have any mentors to what I would like to accomplish. Any and all advice will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
KS

Feel free to drop me an email and pick my brain. I started my own herp museum 15 years ago and it was the best move I ever made.....every day I look forward to work. You can get a better feel for what we do at:
www.thegrassisrattling.com Also, we do some small scale captive breeding and any proceeds go right back to the facility, or, gets donated to various herp conservation projects. Hope this helps.
