Just to clear the air, the comment suggesting "DON'T LECTURE ME LIKE I'M SOME KID, TALK TO ME AS A FELLOW HOBBYIST" wasn't meant in an angry and demanding fashion, instead, suggested due to past experiences when inquiring info. pertaining to hots, people tend to start lecturing me on stuff I either (A) already know, (B) as if I don't have experience, or (C) doubt my abilities as a keeper. My venomous experience is limited to the local indigenous species in my area, and therefore I have no way of getting experience with elapids for example, plus, there's just not many venomous keepers publically known in my area. (I can empathize as to why they're not public about it)
I would also like to add that I am 26 years old and am about to graduate from a local university. A motto I live by is that "if you're truely passionate about something, you'll never be at the point of 'I know it all', if you get to the point where you feel like you can't learn any more about that topic, you just lost interest/passion for that topic." I am scientifically driven in the sense that I investigate as much as possible that I can think of on my own, and through my questions and interactions with others I find out something new and investigate further to verify, ellaborate, or find out that the new info is false. With that being said and my scientific drive, I also always investigate further detail (when feasible) to the information that I've been told.

KS, Thanks for filling out your profile and taking the time to let us here know a bit more about yourself !
There are several members of the site who live in your area, and hopefully, some of them might be willing to work with you.
Because this site has many members, you will find at times some members tend to be very critical of younger reptile keepers, but those members are in the minority here, most folks are very supportave of those who want to learn, no matter what their age.
If you do run into an individual here that seems overally critical of young keepers, you can always tune him out and not continue in the thread. Sometimes on forums you need a bit of a thick skin.
Anyway, welcome to the forum. We look forward to your participation here.
Best Regards JohnZ
