Hi i wanted to say a big hello to you all and say wow this web site is great and i see there is a lot of exsperience here.
I rescue reptiles here in the uk and some inverts.
I have been keeping snakes ect since i was 11.12 I am now 32 and just completing level 2 in herps.
I have also just applied for my DWA license to keep a pair of Copper head snakes.
Then as i get more exsperience with the venomous snakes i will take on more then and only then.
My fav venomous snakes are cobra,rattle snakes and the Copper head.
Thank you all for taking the time to read this and i hope my input and knoledge will come of use over the coming months and years as will yours for me.

Welcome Richard!
This is a great site as you noticed. I'm just an amiture in the world of venomous but I'm learning. This site has some very educated members so take advantage of there knowledge and Enjoy.

I'll just ditto everyone else's comments. There are some great folks here (and a few not so good as just about every other website/forum experiences) but overall, this is a great site w/lots of great information and an excellent resource. It's always nice to have a globally inclusive venomous forum here so please share your experiences from the other side of the pond.

Hey Rob,
Why do you feel the need to make a statement like, "There are some great folks here (and a few not so good as just about every other website/forum experiences)"?
If someone new comes on this site, why don't you just welcome them, instead of having to point out that there are some "bad apples" here?
Very unprofessional Rob. You need to get off your high horse. You are not better than the rest of us, as you clearly stated in another forum !
