HB1309 fails in Texas Legislature!!!

Check out this outstanding development with our brothers in TX. Spread the word.
THIS IS A GREAT VICTORY FOR ALL OF US !!
HB 1309 failed to pass the Natural Resources Committee of the Senate.
We will be celebrating in San Antonio on June 9-10 !!!
On behalf of the Texas Reptile Breeders Association, we want to thank all of you who helped us defeat this Bill. Your tireless efforts are very much appreciated.
The following members of this Senate Committee voted against this Bill:
Sen. Kim Brimer (R), District 10
Sen. Bob Deuell (R), District 2
Sen. Robert Duncan(R), District 28

Actually it passed in commitee Friday, and is due t go the the Senate floor on Wednesday.

Don't be sorry... because you are dead wrong. With all due respect I just watched the video of the vote... It failed sure enough. Watch it. You will be heartened to see the great State of Texas isn't goin' down like that.

Call Senator Seligers office @ 512-463-0131 and talk to Micheal like I did. It failed the first time, but they brought it back in on Friday and it passed committee. It still has to get through the senate.
I'll be on tomorrow night if you'd like to eat some crow.
Trust me...it causes me no great joy to be right about this. :(

I only eat crow if one of my Hawks kills one fresh!
That is info that was passed on to me by the Barkers and the Texas Reptile Breeders Association.

Yes the bill failed in committee. The vote was 5 to 3. The video does show them laughing when the bill was read to. After the vote the speaker says "bill fails to pass"
