I was just wondering how you all would feel about selling someone an Aspidelaps lubricus as their second venomous snake? To be honest about the situation, his first hot is a little neonate atrox that he's had for about a month or two and has attempted hook and tailing.
I have purposely not mentioned any names to avoid any flaming or affecting any third party's life in a negative manner. I am just looking for some opinions here.
Thank you for your time. Anon

I would say that Aspidelaps would be an excellent choice, BUT: this individual needs to learn a lot more on general venomous procedures and husbandry. I'm nervous that he went to an often squirrly snake like atrox for a first and am a little worried that we'll be reading about a bite. I think he should slow down and learn all he can about the snake he has before considering a second, an animal that is entirely different from the one he has.
