What is the chance that the local hospital in my area would have antivenom for waglers vipers or any other venomous snkae not from Wisconsin? Is it available to me and at what cost are we talking. I currently have Waglers but am considering eyelash and palm vipers.

Why don't you simply call the hospitals? Then your treatment protocol won't have to be based on supposition.

The odds that a local hospital in WI would stock antivenin for a non-native species are very bleak. In my opinion, your best bet is a membership in the Florida Antivenin Bank. While the antivenin will not be made available to you directly, it will be just a phone call away from the doctor and hospital that may have to treat you if you are envenomated. The cost to you is a paltry $50 per year for membership.

Speaking of the Florida Antivenin Bank, if you print an application, I would suggest you use the link at the top of the page that prints a PDF file.
The pages are formatted better and you aren't likely to cut off the right side of the application by printing out of your browser.
