Herps in Buckeye Az. area

I'm sure there are some herps in my area but, don't know any. I'm born and raised Az. and have delt with snakes for quite some time but, I am new to learning more about them and possibley doing a little Photog' and such in their environment. Any info as to local herps that don't mind teaching a little would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks

There are actually quite a few reptiles in your neck of the woods...There are quite a few desert roads out that way, and on them you'll find atrox, scutulatus, cerastes, pituophis and all kinds of other cool critters...Youll most likely have to wait until April/May though, as everything is pretty much down for the winter....

The White Tanks are a little North of you. I have had a few good experiences there. There are also a few nice non-herps there that a pretty common(bobcats,mule deer,etc.)

Actually the white tanks are east of me. Do people even read these posts before responding??????? AGAIN I am born and raised in Az. Lived here most of my 45 years. I know there are critters and snakes around here. Again,I am looking to hook up and learn more from A "herpatologist"....... Any help???
