Nick,
The last conversation that you are referencing, I asked you specific questions about your terrible information on your videos.
Specifically, I asked you if you would remove your dangerous video on snakebite treatment. You told me that because of Al you would not. I then asked you "if, because of your feelings toward Al, you were perfectly happy and willing to endanger the people that watched your videos. You happily, exclaimed "Yes"
After a bunch of banter, you told me that you did not know that much about Venomous but were an expert on Non-venomous. I then waisted 10 minutes of my life watching the worst information on Ball Python care you could possibly put on the internet. Which shows that you don't care about the animals either.
So, it was easy for me to come to the conclusion that you don't care if you hurt people and you don't care that you hurt animals. That does in fact make you human filth to me. As was pointed out earlier by your little buddy, it is my American right to say that.
You are causing this garbage here. I am just not letting it die by ignoring you. As I probably should...
The fact that you state you are planning on breeding Venomous in the near future, that you won't remove your dangerous snakebite treatment video, that you won't remove your terrible video on Ball Python Care. All make it clear to me that YOU are in fact the type of reptile keeper and more specifically the Venomous reptile keepers that we don't want in this hobby...period.
You are the type of person that should not own ANY animal.
As for your Arlington meeting...honestly, without any sarcasm or disdain towards you. The best thing you can do to protect your priveledges (not rights) there, is to NOT SHOW UP. Your lack of knowledge and horrible people skills will ruin it for every other keeper of Reptiles in that area.
Trust me, I'll go all day with you anytime Nick.
You have threatened people here, you have insulted people here. You have insulted my son. Me and every other respected person that has tried to communicate with you.
You are the opitomy of an internet tough guy...big talker...all the time.

Nick, bottom line is you are not wanted here, and your friend seems to have missed the part in school where they talk about period usage. It’s pitiful that you and your friends are so brain dead you can’t tell when you’re unwanted! I think the herp community would be better off if you just got lost. You obviously harbor zero intellect and even less people skills. And your followers my god don’t get me started on their foolery! You’re a clown Nick and so is your friend. Please take a hike before our webmaster takes down the threads again.

Bah! It may be worth letting VA fall just to make sure these clowns are denied the privilege of keeping dangerous snakes. The past couple of weeks really have seen this forum fall a few notches - all thanks to one high and mighty internet personality who decided he would come here and insult just about every well respected and influential name in the venomous community.
It is an unfortunate situation in Arlington, but there is likely very little anyone can do about it. Were I to live closer, I would probably attend the meeting. As it is, there is almost nothing in the way of leverage venomous keepers can use to try to fight laws made out of ignorance. Especially not when you have uninformed, rabid locals throwing temper tantrums all over internet boards and posting ridiculous videos on YouTube, exposing their illicit activities. With people like these as "friends," who needs the A.R. enemies?
Nick, if you actually do have these lawyers at your disposal - a fact of which I'm suspectful - then why don't you take on the responsibility of getting one in on this situation?

Michael, sorry for the late reply. The fed de lance in Gloucester was an issue that i helped handle personally and would like to state for the record that I think that the ENTIRE INCIDENT was staged. I think someone w motive (ie peta hsus?) enjoys testing political waters. The irony is that the arlington issue has been going on for some time before the "supposed" phone call was made regarding the lancehead. The sheriffs informed me that a call had been made by someone who wanted to remain anonymous stating that he had went inside the wall mart (love this story) and when he returned to the car his car had been broken into and a crate containing a live lancehead had been stolen. I was at work, mind u, and left immediately for gloucester, upon arrival, greeted by gawkers, tv crew, and police. The animal was never, nor will it ever be seen, it didnt exist. The way the crowd and news acted, it was like someone taped jaws swimming up the bay. It is easy to pass laws once you have the blind heard swaying in your direction, thus, current issues we are now having compounded on us here in VA.
Now, on a slightly personal note, Chance, I as well as many other well respected keepers live here in VA, and for many years we have been (kinda) free. I dont believe the govt should interfere with professional keepers keeping venomous reptiles. I PROMISE i have seen far more horrible equine and k9 keepers having worked in a couple overnight ers. Please dont let ones personal preferences infringe upon the rights of others.

Btw gloucester VA, is the size of nothing. They have a wal mart, thats it. Imagine the hysteria if they would have pulled some BS like that in downtown norfolk or Virginia beach, would have spun a HUGE story then. Then again all that media attention there would require some much firmer evidence i assume. Pick and choose when and were to fight your battles, and i think they may have.

On an interesting side note, on the exact same day as the supposed Fer de Lance in the Wallymart parking lot, there was an incident here at the Wallymart parking lot in Loganville, GA.
They had about 10 police cars, and the fire department out there, and the cops were going from car to car in the parking lot, looking in the windows and under all of the cars with a flash light.
At the time I did not know about the Virginia snake thing yet, but learned of it when I got home.
Never could get anyone at the scene to tell me what was going on, or what they were looking for, but it would not surprise me if the event was somehow related.
Wish it had been an Fer de Lance, would have been fun to have caught it for them, LOL.
