Google didn't help. "Worlds largest private breeder of Bushmasters" sent me to a web site selling garter snakes!!
"Dean Ripa" only got me to his serpentarium.
I printed off a price list from his website a couple of months ago At "Ripa Ecologica"...getting no results now.
What's Up!!?

Don't quote me on this, but I am hearing rumors that Dean's new, hard cover, Bushmaster Book just "might" be available before the end of the year.
I have been waiting patiently, as have many others, but the wait should be well worth it.
The problem with science writers, is that they are constantly finding new material to add to the book. And they are constantly updating things. However, the point has to be reached where the book is finally published. It can always be updated in later editions and printings.
Dr. Bruce Means made that mistake with his "vapor" book "Diamonds in the Rough," about Eastern Diamondbacked Rattlesnakes. He has been promising that book for 10 years, and now, it has become a joke. Even if he does eventually publish it, many folks will never forget the 10 year wait. Especially the folks who paid in advance !
Dean Ripa's monograph "Bushmasters" should be as epic for Bushmaster fans, as Klauber's "Rattlesnakes" was for Rattlesnake fans.
Best Regards John Z

Having previewed a bit of the book myself, I can tell you that it is indeed worth the wait. Not only is Dean incredibly knowledgeable about the Bushmaster, but his writing style is akin to that of his mentor's, the late Mr. Burroughs - penetrating and self-scrutinizing. No doubt you'll learn about the bushmaster in great depth, but you'll find out a bit about Dean as well.
