I saw in an earlier post a while back that neodesha was making cages again? I would really like some info on that as i loved those cages.

I just emailed Neodesha Plastics about their cages and I got a response. They have a website set up to sell them now. =)

Well, this is interesting news.
Seems that we have Neodesha Cages back to some extent again.
The base prices for the cages are not too extreme, however, I see the shipping weights listed are quite a bit more than a cage and shipping box would weight, which means that they will be making some extra profits on hidden "handling" costs included with the shipping.
Hopefully, the folks bringing the cages back have taken some consideration to the way the cages became brittle when they were exposed to too much UV light, and hopefully, they have used some of the newer ABS plastics that have much better UV inhibitors than were available when the cages were first introduced.
I also notice, that the cages are offering only one type of top ventelation. In the old days, you could get several different ventilation configerations, including setups for strip lights, or spot lights, and even sliding covers for humidity control on the side vents (which do not appear on any of the new cages).
Most likely these folks want to start off small, with a few basic cage designs, and see how well they sell. Then, perhaps if they do well, they will offer more and different configurations on the ventilation arrangements.
Perhaps they will also load up a whole bunch of cages on a truck, and have them available at the East Coast reptile shows. That would save a large amount of shipping costs, and perhaps create more sales.
Should be fun to watch to see if this works or not.
Best Regards

Hopefully they start making the vision style cages as well. I looked on the site, and didn't see anything regarding special orders, such as dividers or anything. Hopefully they catch on......

This is all great news and I think keeping it simple for now, until the Neodesha name can come back strong, is the way to go. I personally like the standard slanted front cages with no options - time to start putting an order together.

I just ordered one 24" model about 20 minutes ago, on line with a debt card. I have my collection in terrariums and it is driving me nuts. They take up too much room and I don't like dealing with hots from above them. If the cage comes in real nice, I'll buy 6 pcs.

If they take off again, and become popular again, they will sure make a dent in the sales of the high priced cages that are on the market now, LOL.
