if there are mites on the snake there are more mites in the substrate, take the snake out and treat the substrate i use 'provent a mite' which works awsome but i was told there is simalar stuff you can buy at walmart that works just as well, there is mite medicine that you can give the snake but chances are it will make the snake sick, there is a mite spray that you can spray directly on the snake, its called 'mite off' zoomed makes it, i dealt with a really bad mite problem not to long ago, and if you do as suggested i promise you will get rid of them, hope this helps, arin

Jay, there is nothing that you can feed a snake to kill mites. Those products work on dogs, but not on snakes.
Type in Mites in the search the experts here and read all of the previous threads. The answers you want are there in the past.
I am not going to list them again, because you have not bothered to look for them yourself. Stop being lazy and do a bit of research and you will find what you need to know.
We get tired of answering the same questions time and time again, for lazy folks who have not put out any effort to find the answeres themselves.
Best Regards
John Z

Ivermectin by injection will kill mites...I know one facility that uses it for that but they are very very experienced. You make a dosage error and mites will not be the only thing killed.

clean, clean, clean, clean, and dont put anything from the pet store in the cage.not ever. if you use sticks or rocks from outside then put them in the oven at about 100 + degrees for about 10 or 15 mins. throw out yoour substrate and clean the crap out of your cage. Dry it out and then follow the directions on your can of prevent a mite. Be sure to clean your cage well after you use it. Good luck.
