In January 2007, thousands of guests came out to the Atlanta Reptile and Exotic Animal Show to continue a six year tradition at a great new location at the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds. The success of that show and the following summer show in July at the same location has now established a new tradition of a semi-annual show in Gwinnett County. Repticon returned in January 2009 in the newer, nicer, and larger Fairgrounds facility that was popular with vendors and guests. This growing show continues to delight thousands of guests in one the nation's largest metro areas, so if you call the Atlanta area home, head out for the biggest and most exciting reptile show in Georgia!

Steven,
Do to the overly restrictive reptile laws we have here in Georgia, the show does not allow Venomous Snakes.
It also does not allow any animal that is native to this state, like Corn Snakes, Eastern King Snakes, etc.

Mike Dean
from Exotic Kingdom will be giving a presentation focusing on various arachnids. As a breeder of these creatures, he is the man to learn from if you are into animals that even some herpers think are creepy and crawly. If you like tarantulas, scorpions, and other spiders, stop by to see them up close and personal!

Do you like the big stuff? Have you ever considered getting a Burmese Python? Have you bought one and wonder what to do with it now? Theresa Bearden from Bearden's Burms out of Ladson South Carolina will be doing a presentation "Becoming a Responsible Keeper of those Gentle Giant Snakes the Burmese Pythons!" Stop by and learn how to handle these big guys with proper python husbandry..
Tom Brown from Under the Canopy Farms will be giving a presentation on the wonderful & wet world of captive bred tropical amphibians
Interactive HERP PHOTOGRAPHY Seminar
Renowned Herp photographer Bill Love will be facilitating an interactive seminar on how to photograph herps, so bring your camera to the show! Bill Love's spectacular herp photos appear frequently in Reptiles Magazine as well as many other books and publications. So stop, camera in tow, and take opportunity to learn "hands on" from one of the best!
Please Join USARK for their fund raising auction to be held following the show on:
Date: Saturday August 1
Time: approx. 5:30pm until ?
Where: The large room adjacent to show floor
The auction is open to the public and proceeds will be used to support USARK.
There will be free food, a question/answer session with Andrew Wyatt, President of USARK, and fellowship.
USARK would appreciate donations from vendors for the auction and any other help you have to offer.
There are 17 new vendors added for Atlanta. Lots of snakes, lizards, arachnids,turtles, tortoises,cages and supplies to buy.
We have a new concession. With a much larger menu. Everything from frozen treats to BBQ.
So come on out and spend the day with Repticon.
