Exactly John. Plus they are sensitive little buggers and extracting bi-weekly puts them into a "food refusal" mode regardless. It's the nature of the beast.

The value of tube feeding was proven by Bill Haast, in his feeding tens of thousands of snakes in his venom production lines this way.
It is very disappointing to hear someone here refer to this as the "Haasian-method," however, I do not expect much more from someone from a minor nature center in Chicago. After all, what is Chicago, except a lot of wind, and a arch ?
Does this guy really think he could keep hundreds of coral snakes alive on a venom production line, and find enough snakes and lizards to feed them, and to keep them feeding if they were being milked every two weeks ?
It would be a delusion to think that.
