I contacted him and told him the ads were not legal as did several others that posted on this thread. He was warned of illegal actions, but refused to take down his ads. Matter of fact he still wanted to do transactions as posted by another member at the beginning of this thread.
I still do not think he is 14, I think that is just another lie. I actually have no idea how old he could be since he lied on his original profile.
John why would a moderator put up profiles like that in the first place?

OK, those ads do look suspicious.
And I guess the whole thing could be some sort of undercover sting from Calif game and fish. With that State almost bankrupbt though, I can not see them setting up wildlife stings.
It is just that I have seen far too many times here where folks gang up on some young kid, who is new to venomous keeping, and chase him away with harsh comments, without giving him a chance. So, I am a bit sensitive to that.
And as far as the trickster who sometimes changes peoples profiles, well, I had him change mine at one time. And he used a similar photo. That is why I am a bit suspicious of the whole thing.
So, when I see a profile like that, I think it might the work of that site administrator. Sure does not seem like something a 14 year old would put in his profile, even if he were pissed off. Would take some skill to find a photo like that, and a profile story to go along with it.
Of course, if this fellow is really 19, and is claiming to be 14, then that creates a whole different situation also.

John, that picture is on my home page of Facebook. It was a poll you take for laughs, titled, "What is your Redneck name"
Mine was Cletus, and it gave me that picture.
Not that hard to find, and all that was done was cropping the picture to fit the image size.

Now it does sound like this person is someone to be avoided.
No 14 year old kid is going to create a profile like that from pics stolen from facebook, so, it must be someone older.

It looks to me like a Fish & Game set up, hey maybe the kid is in on it, maybe he is a peta mastermind, and he is out to destroy your rights. But probably not. The kid probably just didn't understand the full reprecussions of buying, or trading illegal snakes. So move on guys.NUFF' SAID !

This and the fact that it was a kid (yes 19 is a kid and prone to stupidity) is why I think its out of hand. Venomous laws are not cut and dry every ware. Fed law Say's one thing, state another, then you have county, and city to deal with, then neighborhood association's and such to deal with. If it was a kid who was stirring the pot, or trying to get snakes illegally it is not Worth all the hoopla. On this website there are articles written by folks who by rights are professional keepers. They then selves admit in there storey's to sloppy handling leading to a bite. If you watch Animal planet you see show some times of that long haired guy taking a shot in the gut from a monocled cobra. It go's on and on, yet no ban or great movement (like with pythons) to shut us down has come. The way doofas is dealt with is hypersensitive in my opinion. And is nothing more then one of many incidents that pop's up on the board annually. It takes away from information being passed on, and is disruptive, Adamanteus70, if you feel you handled this will and on a higher level then that of the 14 or 19 year old then cool, you have no need to keep defending it. let it go. Same for those who think it was excessive. It is done. The boy/man is not responding anymore so basically any shot taken from his last post on is just beating on a dead horse, and what is going to happen is many pages of post not dedicated to the keeping of hots, but instead, a huge flame war on the next member who says anything about it. It's over. Do something different this time and just let it go now.

Ok, Since I am a borde desk driver,(like you must be) I will be the one to burst your bubble. No, The California Fish And Game never went to see the kid you turned in. Who ever told you that was just saying that to make you feel better. I will continue this so evryone can flame me and have it done and this topic can go into obliveion like all the other ones that pop up evry 6 months on this board. They never went and will never go. You know why ? because they are busey as all hell putting poachers in jail. your little complaint will do nothing at all and did nothing at all, other then make you feel like a big guy and maybe get you some support on the board. I worked for the U.S.D.A. when I got out of the navy. I was a fire fighter. During the off season we would improve trails and what ever else needed doing. We did allot of work for the Law enforcement of CDF, And Fish and Wild Life. They never moved (and will never move) unless they got some thing news worthey. What you got aint news worthey. It is nothing more then a grown Man (supposedly) takeing shots at another Man/Boy who is trying to leave and as far as we know already left. This speaks volumes about who you really are in real life when not posting on this board. Sorey bro, you did not get this guy in trouble with fish and game. You may have got an email saying you did but you didnt. If you really knew what you were doing you would have called 1-800-GAME-THEIF but you did not. You are a blow hard, and thats about it. Also, You sed stop poking and you will stop defending. It is clear that you feel bad about this because if you diddent you would not need a defence. So there, you all got red meat and this numbskull can feel like he did somthing good by slapping a man/kid around on a message board. Now ban me or lets get back to talking about venomus snakes.

No, My friend I am no kid. And if breeding snakes is all you have in life I will recommend that you go to Wall-Mart, buy a fishing pole and take a kid fishing. I have lurked at this website for years. It was a great place to gather information, Except for the fact that some folks wanted to have flame wars on it, which is a relatively new trend (the last couple years or so). That is fine. But the way you go after my spelling and me tells me that you are in the ranks of the fellow who forwarded the info (so he says) to Cali., fish,and wild life. You can only pick on my spelling. What you wont admit is all you have is a flame war on venomusreptiles.org to occupy your time. I liked it better when I was not a member. All I had to do was read the articles and watch you fools go at it. The old time members had class ( and spelled bad) and talked about venomous reptiles. You guys got to beat up on 14 year olds. I feel sorry for you. And if you really need to dig, You can google Dr. Harwell in Houston Texas. Come down and visit and you will see how serious a keeper I am.
