Greetings everyone, hope this finds you well. i recently read something pertaining to the use of an electric shock to counter the effects of venom from snake and some spider(shudder!)bites. is there any truth to this?

I wouldn't recommend it. I also think there is sufficient evidence to indicate that it is not helpful in the case of venomous snakebite.
