I am currently enrolled at a community college for natural resources and I would like to study venomous snakes upon completion. How might I go about doing this when I graduate. I will only have an associates degree.

Check out some BS programs in biology, zoology or wildlife mgmt. or even zookeeping
Read as much about the authors as you do the articles they write. Alot of biologists tend to be active on a formal social level (i.e.-symposiums, workshops, coferences, etc.), and are willing to discuss their work and entertain some o your own aspirations...Seek them out.
Or, you could get on the internet, find an internship or technician's position, and apply. Experience only grows frm there.
Good luck.
