HELP!!! I have a problem with prairie rattlers and I have no idea how to get rid of them. I have found 2 so far in April and the weather has been mild. I'm afraid they are going to get worse as summer approaches. I'm terrified of snakes and have 2 small children. The two rattlers I found made no noise and I had no idea they were there. I want rid of them all. I found them in my flower bed next to my house. I have barns and a large garage. I'm also afraid my horses will be bit or my dogs. Any advise is greatly appreciated.

Please don't be too worried. As it gets warmer snakes generally disperse greatly. Spring and fall are when they are most often in higher "concentration" in certain areas surronding a den. For professional help call Snake Removal at 1-800-339-9470. They deal with thousands of live removals nation wide.
Good luck.
P.S. Tell them T.C. Houston refered you.
