I just did a correction to REXANO's statistics
USA: Captive Constrictor (Non - Venomous) Snakes Statistics Human Fatalities 1990-2008
it doesn't include the 2009 FL kid fatality, as 2009 is not over yet. However, the 2006 Ohio owner fatality listed the killer snake as 'python' or boa constrictor... I finally got an official word that it was indeed a 13 feet long burm (yeah, would have to be a boa on dinosaur steroids to get hat big).
Anyway, what this mean we can not find any recent US fatalities caused by captive boas, but this means Burms got another kill, still, the fatalities rate is extremely low, maybe hobby hazard,... either way and not a public safety issue
