Everyone Beware: Florida Fish & Wildlife is trying to set people up and arrest them for rehoming snakes on the internet. They have contacted me twice trying to buy Albino Burmese Pythons and Pygmy Rattlesnakes, but I told them both times that I would not sale to them without a copy of their florida permits. Little do they know, I have an inside connection in to their investigation and caught on to them both times before they could set me up. One of the officers responding to these ad's is useing the name Guy Carter # 407-222-0787, but there are several other officers involved in this investigation and they may use a diffrent name or phone number. I also have a 6 minute recorded conversation between 2 of the officers talking about a special meeting this weekend so they can start making arrest on monday.......Everyone please beware!! They are arresting people with non venomous who dont have a Class 3 Dealers license as well as anyone with ROC or Venomous Species without the proper permits.
I have posted this thread on several other websites and already recieved over 300 emails since yesturday from diffrent people wanting to hear the conversation for themself and I want to let everyone know that YES, We are trying to figure out how to post and make that conversation public record on the "Bad Guy Forum" for EVERYONE to hear, but it may take a minute so please be patient. If anyone knows how to transfere this recording from a cell phone to the computer, Please give me a hand or atleast alittle advice.
Nice try AKA Guy Garter.....Not only am i your worst nightmare, but your just stupid!!! I have also reported your misfortune to your supervisors and forwarded a copy of that recorded conversation to the board of directors at Fish & Wildlife in tallahassee so I hope your stupidity cost you your job. The board of directors are real interested in how stupid and careless you were thursday night by runing your mouth in public for everyone to hear including my recorder!!

I don't know how to take your post! It's kind of like being a pedophile and posting, LOOK OUT GUYS, FBI is trying to bust us so watch who you sell your kiddy porn to! IMO if they are doing their job trying to bust people who are doing illegal selling/buying, good for them! I enjoy my Venomous hobby (and the right if I want it to collect large constrictors) and if there are people out there doing wrong who could take away these rights (Few bad apples), that's their fault for breaking the law, I have no pitty!
I could be misunderstanding your post...?? Just how it comes across to me when I first read it.

I also hope you have consent from all parties in the cell phone conversation, otherwise you've just announced in a forum we know to be monitored by law enforcement that you've violated state wiretapping law.

I found the original post to be quite odd myself. I say more power to Fish and Game for weeding out the dorks who ruin it for everyone.

DAVID (OP)
If I understand, not trying to get in your head but trying to view it with an open mind. I could be way off here as I may have taken your post wrong or maybe I didn't, maybe you are letting others who bend/break the law know they need to watch out?
Point is I hate police hiding in the tree line with radar, yes I might flash my lights to let others know to lookout ahead but honestly, they are slowing people down who could cause a serious accident. I also would love someone to give me a heads up that FWC is in my area doing inspections. Not that I have anything to hide but just like in some cases when the owner of a company comes into work everyone hustles to make sure it's a little extra clean before he gets there, just human nature. However, like you doing your job by asking them for their permits they are doing theirs trying to weed out the bad apples. I feel (IMO) you should support them for doing this, (Unless you are on the wrong side of the law, I don't know you so I'm not assuming but your post is kind of strange)
I hate being setup too and I bet so do drug dealers, prostitutes and people who get setup trying to get with one. Police are in the right to do this and I think in this case we should be supportive. I've been approached online to buy or sell things that were not legal in one way or another. Could be some guy or it could be FWC, I don't know. Either way I still have my snakes and my hobby because I said no! Yeah, I might of walked away with my head down low and wished I could have picked up those snakes or sold them but in the end someone else who was legal got them or I found what I was looking for months later... legally. (For the most part, still trying to get Twin Spots, and Ridge nosed but I'm going to do it the right way)
I understand your frustration, it sucks to be setup and it never sits well with anyone. But it’s better to deal with it than not to have any snakes at all. IMO of course…

First off, I think acouple people took my origional posting the wrong way.....I want to clear one thing up, I have been in the Herp industry for over 30 years and have Every permit possable in the state of florida and have done nothing wrong by posting this or any other messege. Im just trying to warn people of whats really going down right here on the Venomous reptiles classifieds because fish and wildlife is out to bust the small people more then anyone. Im not mad at fish & wildlife for trying to do there job, but they busted a close personal friend of mine right here on this website for saleing and shipping a common ball python to west palm beach without a class 3 dealers license and he is now sitting in the orange county jail serving 4 months for saleing his pet.
So now my new question for the venomous reptiles community.....Is it right for Florida Fish & Wildlife to arrest people for commonly saleing their pets without a class 3 dealers permit? People sale their pets everyday in the orlando sentinal and on craigslist, why is fish & game trying to bust our balls on thisd website so bad?
For those of you who did take my origional message out of context, Im only trying to look out for the herp community as a hole and for those of you who dont understand that, Good luck!!

P.S.....By the way it's NOT illegal to record a voice conversation especially when the cop is to stupid to realize that he was talking right in to a voice mail that he called at his own free well. Also I have already addressed this issue with his supervisors personaly, plus i have forwarded a copy of the voice recording to the board of directors in tallahassee.

Actually David, a post not so long ago was about FWC busting someone on craigslist selling some sort of Python if I remember correctly, so they are not just focusing on this site.
One thing for sure, they are serious so it appears.
I however got your reply to my email, thanks.

I just noticed that posting about FWC on craigslist for the first time and I appreciate you pointing it out to me. If diffently appears that they are serious. I dont mind them doing there job, but i feel they are going alittle to far sometimes. They busted a good friend of mine right here on VR for saleing and shipping a ball python from orlando to west palm beach without a class 3 dealers license and he is now sitting in the orange county jail. Is this fair to the herp community? They are basically telling everyone that once you buy a snake, you have to keep it in your posession for the rest of your life because you are not allowed to ever resale your pet without a class 3 dealers licensed. Is this fair?

Wow I somehow thought that would be a misdemeanor and would only involve a fine. Had your friend been found guilty of past offenses or done anything else other than what you mentioned? That does seem steep for a first offense.
