ok all,i finally got ahold of "aa reptiles", and they helped me out as best they could. they looked at the pics i sent and told me that they had the snake for atleast 6 months, and never had a problem. said that it was a good eater and all. they also said that it would have never been shipped to me with the mouth in that condition, that it seems maybe the snake bit itself somehow in transit(which is possible) and that it will recover.also, to keep them posted incase it is something else and we would work something out then... for now i am happy, i will raise the cage temp a little more than i already have, also dose a rat pup with antibiotics, and wait i guess. i am very grateful for all of the good advice from you all, Thanks(it is quarentined from my other snakes).....Danny

I guess that is always the answer (I had it 6 months and it has always been fine for us.).what they really mean is screw you we have your money and kiss our ass..Oh and will you please tell me how it bit its own mouth.Sounds like you need to be a little more proactive .A total replacement is all that would work for me.

Geesh Archie!
You must have had some deals go horribly wrong in the past lol. The dealer in question is pretty high profile so I would give them the benefit of the doubt before giving them down the river. They offer some very high end animals as well as the standard fair so I have some doubt they would risk their reputation on an animal that is not particulary expensive.

I recently had a deal where I was told the animal was in a different condition than I got it in.My attitude has been poor as of late you are right.I just think the snake looked very bad and needed to be replaced and I am not the only one. When you buy an animal it should be in good shape period. You are right about me tho.On the other hand the snake should be replaced at there cost.In a few weeks if it dies will they say it was dannys fault it died. The time of action is now.If your customer has a problem it should be fixed right then. That is how to be a good guy....

I wish this forum had quoting capabilities...

Actually, their reputation is WHY I would never do business with them or their associates. I could say more but this is not the BOI.
