Why is Jeff Corwin/Herpetologist a joke?
What does being in the hospital have to do with stupidity?

Jeff Corwin is a herpetologist that really caters to kids, you can sit your son, daughter, brother, or sister infront of an episode of Corwin's Quest and they'll retain some knowledge but you really can't expect to gain any knowledge or research on new items from him like you could from Mark O'Shea for example. He's pretty much become The Wiggles but with animals instead of cheesy songs and skits.

Doug I was thinking the same thing.Putting the AR stuff aside quite a few of us have scene the inside of a hospital from reptile related injury.Heck I even got salmanella from a caimen splashing water in my mouth.Or the time I got a very virulent form of strep in my leg from a cut on my foot while walking collecting water snakes in a stagnint pond.I just about lost my leg.Or the time I got a croc tooth stuck in my hand.Or the funniest one is when I got slapped in the eye by my friends tame iguana and my eye was bleeding like fire.If you choose to field collect or keep dangerious animals something can happen.The scarriest one was not even a hospital stay.A 18 month old lion sucked on my head for about 30 minutes while holding me down.He was hungry but was not sure about eating a meal that kept saying please do not eat me baby please.My fore head was totally raw from the tongue.Finally some one came and got me out.Any resistance would kick in its grab tighter responce. I was only 14 years old.Oh that was a tame lion that wanted to eat me.
