I am expecting Monocle eggs in mid-late Feb. I have never bred snakes before and need a little advice such as what type containers, substrate, and temp/hum. level you guys incubate your kaouthia in. Also any commercial incubators that anyone likes? Thank you,
Drew.

I am a live bearer guy, but for questions about monocle eggs I would contact Mitch at Diamond Reptile breeders in Florida.

He can certainly get you on the right track. Good luck.

Can't help with incubation tips but can recommend an incubator manufacture. Avey Incubators products are absolutely incredible. They are a bit pricey but the quality is exceptional and their ability to maintain an extremely precise temperature is astounding.

Hi Drew, I am cheap, so I incubate my eggs in a home made container consisting of a styrofoam box (obtained from pet store from fish shipments), to which I add a gallon glass jar (filled with water) and an aquarium heater (~50W). I normally keep mine about 80F but others may suggest a little warmer temperature. The eggs are placed in a plastic container to which a couple of inches of damp vermiculite has been added. I bury my eggs about 3/4 of the way in the vermiculite with about 1/4 of the upper surface exposed. Make sure there are a few holes in the egg container for air exchange. There are a lot of ways to get the vermiculite damp. If you have access to some lab scales, most use equal weights of water with equal weight of vermiculite. Most of the time I just sufficiently wet it so that you can't squeeze water out of the mixture. Hope this helps...good luck with your eggs. There is probably no more amazing site in the world that watching a reptile hatch out of an egg!

Incubate your eggs at 86F. They should hatch in 6-8 weeks.
Setting up your incubator: Google: "Cornsnake/Colubrid breeding". Follow the step by step instructions to a "T", and you shouldn't have much trouble. Naja eggs are hardy. If they are fertile you'll see some little hoodies with no problem at all.
