Shouldn't USARK start going on offense and sueing states with rediculous reptile laws like NYC where you can't even own a ball python. People really discriminate against snakes just because they don't like the idea of a snake while in reality snakes rarely hurt people while dogs and horses and other "accepted" pets hurt and kill thousands of people every year. Yet when a snake bites someone once a decade people act like the sky is bleeding. WTF ? I think if we are just on defense forever while the humane society and other whack jobs push their agendas forward we will fail. We need to go on offense and now is the perect time the economy is weak and the reptile industry is a multi billion dollar industry that creates jobs.
Also should people own these snakes illegally ? I believe so. Martin Luther King encouraged civil disobediance because he said that there were both just and unjust laws and if we don't act nothing will change. These laws are unjust and reptiles have been exploited enough in the media they are harmless and any expierenced keeper knows this. Isn't it time to go on offense ? Don't we really need leaders that will stand up for us and fight for our interest ? Shouldn't we start negotiating at the legalize everything point, and work our way from there ?
