Are there any problems using a snare pole to capture a snake? I am getting info. on the best tools to use.

Do not use a snare pole to capture a snake. The point of contact with the snake is small and injury to snakes is common with this method.
Can it be done? Well yes, but it isn't the preferred method among herpetologists. Go to website above and buy a hook, a ProBagger and a pair of Gentle Giant Tongs.
