Hello; I was not sure where to post this so i put it here i have the ad but i'm not sure how to post a pic on here but here it is .I recieved a outdoor/hunting supply co magazine the other day i'm not naming any names but it had an ad that seemed to be lies and a real shame about the snakes the ad goes as follows (an adult sized texas diamondback freeze dried in a life like open mouth fangs bared striking position) and im small print at the bottom it said (the principal reason for their harvest is for milking their venom to manufacture antidote) why not turn the snakes loose or keep them to be milked again in good conditions of course i just think it's a waste to destroy a wonderful animal for a paper weight
thank you

Unfortunately, if there is a buck to be made, it will continue. Hopefully nobody will buy them and it will stop. Take care, Marty

With ya marty! No reason why they can't catch, milk, and release. Guess not everybody uses rational thought.

There are some gentlemen in SC who extract venom from rattlesnakes in the field, mark the snakes so they will not repeat the process, and release them where found. THAT is very cool. To my knowledge, they are the only ones who do this.
